The Insider Ownership and Insider Transactions snapshots highlight the ownership and trading history of the insiders within a public organisation. This can include executives, board members, founders, and more.

Market Value represents the value of the insider's ownership, and % of Market Cap represents the percentage of the company's market cap that the insider owns. Shares held displays the number of shares the insider owns and the Date represents the data of the latest filing which represents this data.
Data for insider ownership comes from Capital IQ by Standard and Poor's and is global in coverage. The ownership table is limited to up to the largest 20 holders.
Insider Transactions
The Insider Transactions snapshot illustrates the insider transactions conducted by insiders of a specified company. The table will be sorted by recency by default and contains the following data:
- Insider Name & Title: The name and title of the insider.
- Transaction Type: Highlights the nature of the transaction. For example, an Open Market Purchase vs. an Employee Stock Option Acquisition. In all there are 24 transaction types, and Koyfin maps these 24 types into 10 buckets, as per below.

- Category: Categorises transaction types into Acquisition (increase in shares owned) vs. Disposal (decline in shares owned). For some transaction types, whereby no shares are exchanged, the category represents the intent. For example, the transaction type, Intent to Sell, involves no change in shares, but represents an intent of Disposal, and would be categorized as such.
- Transaction Date: The date the transaction occurred. Note that in the raw filings, the transaction date is is often provided as a range. Koyfin uses the latest date from that range.
- Shares Transacted: The number of shares involved in the transaction.
- % of Shares Transacted: The percentage of shares involved in the transaction. For example, if an insider disposed of 5,000 shares and has 15,000 remaining, this represents 25% of the insider's share count.
- Transaction Value: The market value of the transaction. Note that Koyfin receives all insider transactions in USD, thus ex-US insider transactions are converted to the appropriate currency as of the FX rate on the transaction date. As a result, the values of ex-US insider transactions will be approximations and may not match the raw filing.
- Shares Owned: The remaining number of shares the insider owns as a result of the transaction.
- Form Type: The SEC form type from which the data was initially shared to the public.
Data for insider transactions comes from Capital IQ by Standard and Poor's and is global in coverage. The transactions table is limited to up to 2 years of history.
