Check Ticker is a new tool in the screener that lets you see why any security passes or fails one of your saved screens. Instead of manually cross-referencing metrics, you get a clear pass/fail breakdown for every criterion in seconds.

How to open it

There are two ways to access Check Ticker:

  • From My Screens — click the Check Ticker button in the toolbar. The screen you're currently viewing is pre-selected, and the ticker search opens ready for you to pick a security.
  • From a security page — click Check Screens in the quotebox on any stock, ETF, mutual fund, or SMA page. The security is filled in automatically and results load immediately against the first matching screen for that security type.

How to use it

Select a screen and a security. The results table shows every criterion in that screen, the security's value, and whether it passed or failed. You can switch to a different screen or security at any time without closing the modal.

A few things worth knowing:

  • Multiple values — criteria with several selections (like country or sector) show the values inline, with a Show More option to expand the full list.
  • Description — hover the icon in the value column to read the full company description.
  • Wrong security type — if the security isn't the right security type for the selected screen, only a single Security Type: Fail row appears. No other criteria are shown.

No saved screens?

If you open Check Screens from a security page and don't have any saved screens yet, you'll see a prompt to go to My Screens and create one.
