v3.60: [Client Portfolios] Households
We’re excited to announce some big upgrades to Client Portfolios. We’ve introduced a three-tiered structure that allows you to represent the Households, Portfolios, and Accounts of your client’s investments.
This article explains how to create and manage client accounts with these improvements.
Note: With the latest update to the Client Portfolios structure:
- Accounts can now be assigned directly to Households without requiring a portfolio layer.
- You can structure client assets in two (Households and Accounts) or three layers (Households, Portfolios, and Accounts).
- Account editing has moved to its own dialog. Open the account and click Edit Account to manage its settings, holdings, and cash position. The Edit Portfolio and Edit Household modals now contain settings for that level only.
Client Portfolios support a three-tier structure:
1. Household – Top-level, aggregates portfolios and accounts
2. Portfolio – Optional mid-level, aggregates accounts
3. Account – Base-level, individual investment account
This structure allows you to:
- Organize related client investments logically
- View aggregated data at the portfolio and household levels
- Move accounts between households and portfolios, and portfolios between households
- Generate Reports at any level: household, portfolio, or account
Getting Started

Importing from Integrations
When importing accounts from a custodian or PMS integration:
