Fidelity Integration
You can connect Fidelity to Koyfin to import client accounts into Client Portfolios and create reports and proposals.
Follow the steps below to complete the setup.
Note: Custodian integrations are available on the Advisor Core plan. Connecting more than one custodian is available on the Advisor Pro plan.
How to set up the Fidelity integration in Koyfin
Follow these steps in Wealthscape to allow Fidelity to send account data to Koyfin.
1. Open Integration Xchange
- Log into Wealthscape
- On the home screen, scroll to Resources and select Integration Xchange
If you do not see Integration Xchange, ask your firm admin to enable these permissions:
- Integration Xchange Admin Outbound Transmission Rules Management
- Integration Xchange_OutboundTransmissionsRulesManagement
2. Add a new transmission rule
- In Integration Xchange, open My Firm’s Integrations in the top menu
- Select Outbound Transmission Rules
- Click Add Rule
Fill out the fields:
- Entity Name: Select Koyfin Inc
- Header: Click + Add Header, then go to the Koyfin Profile → Integrations page, copy the header shown there, and paste it exactly as provided.
- G Number: Enter your firm’s G Number
Leave Product Class and Platform Source empty unless instructed by Fidelity.
Click Next
3. Set data masking
To ensure Koyfin receives a usable account name, adjust the masking options as follows.
Keep these fields unmasked (set to No):
- First Name
- Middle Name
- Last Name
- Address
Keep these fields masked (set to Yes):
- SSN / TIN / Customer ID
- Phone Number
- Date of Birth or Date of Death
- Bank or credit card numbers
- Credit card expiration
Click Next
4. Confirm the rule
- Review the details
- Enter your full name
- Click Confirm
Your part is done. After the rule is created:
- Fidelity will begin sending your firm’s files to Koyfin
- Koyfin will process the files as soon as they arrive
Processing starts only after Fidelity sends the first file, which usually happens within one to three business days.
After Setup
Koyfin will send you a confirmation email once the integration is active.
If no data appears after a few days, contact your Fidelity relationship manager to confirm transmissions have started.
Once the integration is active
To import accounts into Koyfin:
- Go to the Client Portfolio page
- Click + Add New → Portfolio
3. In the portfolio creation window, choose Fidelity as the custodian.
4. Select the account(s) you want to import
5. Click Import.
After Importing
- All imported accounts are grouped into a new Untitled Portfolio.
- The portfolio is placed under No Household by default.
- Each import creates a separate untitled portfolio.
To organize the portfolio:
- Rename the portfolio and accounts if needed.
- Reassign a portfolio or account by hovering over the row, clicking the ⋯ menu, and selecting Move to.
